Hole in 1 Golf Challenge

Please note that it is not essential to book for the golf challenge. If you do please understand that you will still need to queue up on arrival, generally there is no line but on peak periods days there can be short waits. 

Golf starts at 9am daily and ends at sundown as per met service times, or 9pm whatever is earliest. The booking online system will restrict bookings after 5pm daily but we will still be open onsite later than that for walk up customers. 

Play & Experience - the Hole-In-1 Golf Challenge on Otago Harbour. Tee off from shore and get a Hole-In-1 on the (8X8m) pontoon located approx 100m on the harbour to win $10,000!

There are also 2 other larger holes where you can win vouchers for some of Dunedin’s top restaurants and tourism activities.

Punters can have a go for as little as $1.50 or take advantage of our package deals:

  • $15 for 18 balls
  • $25 for 25 balls
  • Or $1.50 per ball 
  • Anyone who can hit the surface of the pontoon gets a free ball to hit again
  • Free Putting game for kids located onshore next to our yummy Cafe, get in the hole and win a Lolly.  (OHGC has strong core focus on creating family friendly environments)
